Your journey begins at the Cancun International Airport, where your guide awaits outside, ready to take you to your hotel for the night in Playa del Carmen. Depending on what time you arrive, you may have time to head out to the beach, or walk on the famous 5th Avenue and grab dinner in town.

Today we meet the group. During breakfast, your guide will share the itinerary, safety rules, useful tips and instructions for the following days. After, we depart southbound to the Land of Bountiful and learn about the Allen and Magelby theory that pertain to this region of Mexico. Enjoy an amazing historical commentary by your guide as we travel in our premium vehicles.
Upon our arrival at Dzibanche and Kohunlich, your guide will take you to see the buildings and artifacts previously mentioned during the presentation on the van and discuss the many connections that relate to the scriptures.
After exploring the fabulous ruins and enjoying a delicious picnic at the site, we continue to spend the night at the capital city of Chetumal. Our hotel is located 2 blocks away from the beach, this is not the best place for swimming, but instead, you may enjoy walking along the coast and try local treats and desserts sold in the evening.

An unforgettable trip to the UNESCO World Heritage site – Tikal. Here will see incredible monumental temples and palaces, and yes, even the one featured in Star Wars, in case you were wondering.
After we take you to visit a charming little island on Lake Peten Itza called Flores. We will spend the evening here and the following day as well.

We begin our return to Cancun, but first, we make a stop in Belize at Nohoch Che’en National Park, a beautiful natural rainforest reserve, to hike up some short trails to reach Caves Branch creek and begin our cave tubing adventure. Today our guide takes us to visit the Nohoch Che’en cavern system and to explore inside some unbelievable caves that the Mayas once used for placing offerings to the Xibalba gods. We begin at the top of the Caves Branch River where will jump in our inner tubes and enjoy a gentle ride down into the caves. Our guides provide us with helmets and headlamps to illuminate our path. As we journey into the caves, enjoy the fascinating commentary of your guides about how the cavern system was formed and also what they were used for by the ancient inhabitants of Belize. If you are not an expert maneuvering an inner tube, your guides will connect your tube to theirs and help steer you to success!
Hop on and off your tube in all the special spots and get ready to squeeze through rock formations to enter large chambers full ancient pottery and Mayan offerings! Next, get ready to jump off a 15 ft rock inside the caves and continue exploring.
The river will continue to take us back to the entrance of the park, where a delicious barbecue meal awaits.

Departing from your hotel in Chetumal, you will visit a Spanish lookout in the beautiful town of Bacalar. A 16th Century fortress built by the Spanish. Next, we head over to our favorite beach club in town to enjoy a delicious meal and take a swim in the pristine turquoise waters of the lagoon. Wakeboarding, jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding are some of the activities you may enjoy here.
Upon our return to Playa del Carmen, our hometown, we gather for a last hoorah at La Parrilla Restaurant on the 5th to finish off our amazing adventure.
